The Glamping site is located about two kilometres from Thomastown. It makes it an ideal location for exploring the south-east of Ireland.
Within 5km of the Glampsite
Nearby Kilfane Waterfall is a wonderfull attraction. It is a picturesque paradise with a waterfall tumbling its way to a rushing stream and woodland paths leading to a decorated cottage.

River Walk to Thomastown
From our glamping site, you can walk to the picturesque town of Thomastown via the river Nore. It’s a popular walking route connecting the Thomastown to Inistioge. The walk to Thomastown takes approximately 40 minutes. It is part of the Trail Kilkenny river walk from Thomastown to Inistioge.

A safe river swimming area known as the ‘Weir Pool’ is located close to the site. It is open all year around and there is a lifeguard on duty June weekends and every day in July/August.

Jerpoint Abbey is a ruined Cistercian abbey, founded in the second half of the 12th century is also located nearby. It has a visitor centre and you can hear about the history and stories of the monks who called the Abbey home, with a free, guided tour.
A beautiful Victorian style gardens, open all year around. Lots of space for

Kilkenny Castle and gardens is a wonderful amenity in Kilkenny City. Tours of the castle are available daily and you can explore the extensive parkland which also houses a children’s playground.
Waterford Greenway is another wonderful amenity which starts in Waterford City (about 30 minutes from the site) and finishes in Dungarvan. It is 46km long and is ideal for walking and cycling. Bike hire is available at various locations along the Greenway.
Castlecomer Discovery Park
Castlecomer Discovery Park is an adventure park nearby, which also has a playground, café and craft village. It has a wide range of activities available, including tree top walks, zip lines, boating, archery, mountain biking, etc. For further information check out

Just back from a weekend stay here, place lovely and spotless. Mary so friendly and helpful really nice for a chill away break, quiet and peaceful. lovely view and nice walks through the woods. highly recommend this place and will defo go back here
Just back from an amazing two days. We stayed in the painted lady tent it was extremely comfortable and immaculate. Everything you need is there. The kitchen was fully equipped and was great to have the gas barbecue outside. Met some lovely families there and had great fun at the campfire in the evenings. Mary is a super friendly. Can’t wait to go back
